That Darn Cat!

She was too cute. I've been thinking for awhile about getting another cat. My friend Kristen and I took a ride to the SPCA adoption center in Raleigh to see the cats. First of all, the Dail Adoption Center was the most gorgeous facility. It's a 4 year old facility and it is top of the line. We went to the kitten room and it was the same as it was with Jack. I picked up this little black and caramel colored kitten and she looked at me with her starry cinnamon brown eyes and that was it. I was going to name her Colby, but after having her home for a day I've seen a little more of her personality, so I've decided to name her Katia. She's 2 months old and a total sweetheart. Jack is starting to get used to having her in the house. He was not thrilled yesterday, but I had Katia downstairs for a little bit today and he didn't make a peep. He just sat in his cat bed and watched. Hopefully he keeps warming up to her.
