Life Lately

Hello and Happy Monday!  We are halfway through July!  Can you believe it?  I was out of town most of last week and I am headed out to Austin on Tuesday.  Lots of exciting things this week though - I'll mention those at the end of the post.  But let's recap what's been going on with us lately.

Last Saturday I was off to Phoenix.  I had the morning free on Sunday so I took advantage of the slightly cooler temps and hung out at the pool.  It was HOT. 

Friday Favorites - Stripes Ahoy!

Hello and happy Friday!  Congrats on surviving another week!  I know that Phillip and I are looking forward to a low key weekend with nothing planned.  #timetorelax

I'm going to start off with what I think is my favorite of the bunch.  I am in LOVE with this Bobeau top.  I love the stripes, I love the off the shoulder.  How cute will this be with white jeans and cognac wedges?  I have a feeling this one will definitely end up in my closet.

Y'ALL!  Ruffles and stripes!  Be still my heart.  How sweet is this Bobeau top?  I'd pair this with white crops and flats or sandals.  So cute.

I love a mixed media top and this Sanctuary top with the ruffled hem is so pretty.  Pair it with jeans and your favorite flats (maybe a red or fuschia flat for a pop of color) and you are ready to go.

I love Ann Taylor for work clothes.  Classic and elegant, you can't go wrong with this pretty striped sweater.  Gorgeous right?  I could see myself pairing it with a nice pair of jeans and heeled sandals for a casual Friday or with one of skirts for a regular workday.

A simple, classic, striped boatneck t-shirt.  Does anything else say summer like this does?  White jeans, shorts, skirts, it goes with everything!

The red is cute, right? And a fun departure from your classic blue and white stripe.  This t-shirt from LOFT is perfect for warmer weather.  Pair it with your favorite denim crops or shorts and you are ready for the weekend!

I think I like this LOFT bell sleeve striped top almost as much as that first Bobeau off the shoulder top.  I love the look with the darker jeans and I could wear this to work as well where I couldn't with the off the shoulder top.  Oh decisions, decisions.  Because do I really need two?  #maybeIdo
