Good Morning! Happy Friday! We have had a bit of a cold snap in Texas this week. Monday morning we woke up to temperatures in the 30s! I am not ready for the cold yet, so I have been dreaming about all the cozy things this week to keep me warm.

Friday Favorites - Back to School

Even though Henry is only one, he is getting all the "Back to School" notices from his day care. It's so cute. It did get me thinking about Back to School and Fall Favorites and since it is 105 degrees here in DFW today (no lie) and I am dreaming about cooler weather, I thought I would round up some of my favorite Back to School/Fall items this week.

Friday Favorites
Good Morning and Happy Friday! I took a little bloggy break this week while I was on vacation from my other job. I am online all the time for that one so it felt really good to just unplug completely from everything.
My plan was not to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year, but I know a lot of you do, so I wanted to take today's Friday Favorites post to highlight some of my favorite brands and items that are in the sale this year. These are tried and true things that I have purchased in the past or have purchased similar items in past and can vouch for their quality.

I cannot say enough good things about anything from Barefoot Dreams. Everything is so cozy and comfy. I have had several of their cardigans for YEARS. I think I bought my first one eight years ago and it has held up. The circle cardigan is on sale for under $70 which makes it a great deal.
Zella has some of the best active wear and their live in leggings are no exception. I wear these to work out, I wear them to lounge around the house. And they're high waisted. At under $40, these are a great buy!
I am team #nolashes. I have very thin short eyelashes. I've been using this serum for a year and it has been a game changer for me. They are definitely longer and look so much better when I wear mascara. And...it's way cheaper than Latisse.
I have this and I cannot say enough good things about it. If you are a lipstick girl, this is a must have. It comes with the Pillow Talk pencil, gloss, and lipstick. This is the perfect pinkish nude shade. Make sure you grab it, to get all three full size items for under $70 is a steal.
This is hands down the best underwire bra I have ever owned. Hands down. No questions. I have it black and nude and it is in steady rotation with my strappy tanks in summer and any time I need a strapless or one strap option. It is so comfortable. It is worth every penny when it isn't on sale, so make sure if you are in the market for a good strapless bra to grab this one in the sale.
These are my all time favorite lounge pants. They are so super soft, you think they are more expensive than they really are and on sale they are a great deal. If you are looking for the best pants to lounge around in, these are the ones for you! Mine are in constant rotation, especially right now working from home.
My all time favorite dry shampoo. It has the best scent and disappears completely into my dark hair. At $34, this is a great deal.

Friday Favorites - Nordstrom Spring Sale
Happy Friday! We made it through another week, friends. Hopefully yours was a little more peaceful than mine, which was super crazy with work.
It's Friday though, which means the weekend is around the corner and we've got a few things on tap. Mr. Fisher's father is in a play this weekend in Garland and we are heading out that way to see him in it followed by dinner at Babe's with the family to celebrate Mr. Fisher's birthday. Sunday we have got to clean the house! I am going to make it to Palm Sunday Mass and we have our maternity tour scheduled at the hospital.
But Friday means Friday Favorites and it's the Nordstrom Spring Sale. I wanted to highlight some of my favorite finds for the sale. I'm not currently shopping for me, since I have the maternity clothes I need to get through the rest of this pregnancy and I'm not buying non-maternity clothes. These are things I would have picked up and there are some really cute finds.

I love this hooded sweater. I think it's perfect for these transitional weekends we're having in Texas or to throw over shorts and a t-shirt when you're outside at night.

Friday Favorites - Spring is Coming!
Happy Friday! I have today off, so this post is a little delayed this morning. I took the opportunity to sleep in a bit (7am!), have coffee, go for a walk, and do some stuff around the house.
The walk was a little chilly, it's in the 40s, but we are halfway through March and I am ready for Spring! Aren't you? I want some 70 degree weather! Thinking about Spring has me thinking about some fun new accessories and clothes to go with the bright, sunny weather.

Friday Favorites - Maternity Wear
Happy Friday! Who is ready for the weekend? I know I am. Mr. Fisher and I have early Valentine's dinner reservations Saturday night. I've got breakfast plans with friends and other than that, it's going to be a nice low-key weekend.

Life Lately and More Nordstrom Faves
It has been a whirlwind few days around here. We drove down to Galveston for the weekend and then after we got home Sunday, I had to drive down to Austin on Monday for a meeting on Tuesday, driving back to Dallas Tuesday night. It was a lot of car time, but heading to Galveston was worth it!

Life Lately
As you may have been able to tell by my extended absence from blogging, life lately has been a little hectic. Mainly due to work. Crazy times at the office meant that when the weekend would come around, I had no energy to pour into blogging. Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale!
Happy Wednesday! Are you counting down to the weekend too? We leave for vacation in 2.5 days! I cannot wait. And bonus? The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale started today! Yay!
This is not the Anniversary sale that happens in July. But this is still a great sale to stock up on some cute items as we move into the summer season. And let me tell you, summer is here in Texas. 90s this week and we get our first taste of the 100s next week. #yikes #notreadyyet
