Good Morning! And it is March First! How did we get here already? I feel like we were just celebrating the new year. Two months into the year and I thought that now would be a good time to revisit my goals and check in on progress.
Goal One
Goal one was to spread my wings and fly a bit at work. Work has been busy and good, but I've tweaked this goal a little bit in the last few weeks.
I have recently signed on to be a Stella & Dot Stylist. I am excited about the opportunity and the flexibility that it can give me now and in the future. I have GOALS. And I want to make them happen.
Goal Two
My second goal was to use my planner more and I am going to be honest, I love my Passion Planner, but I haven't cracked it open in a couple of weeks. I need to get back into it. Especially with my revamped Goal #1. I need to carve out time to work, plan, and contact people related to that goal and my planner is going to help me do that.
Goal Three
My workouts have been pretty steady and I am about to embark on a Barre Challenge for the month of March (more on that in another post...) what I have not been so great at is my nutrition. I have been trying to reign it in with some success, but I really need to focus and pack good, wholesome foods in my lunches so I am not tempted to wander or graze at work.
Goal Four
Goal four was related to my graduate certificate program at Bay Path University and I am happy to say that it is coming along nicely. I am have just started my third class of six and I am doing well (2 As so far...)
Goal Five
Goal five was to keep having fun with this guy and I can say that we are definitely doing that. We recently went to the Stars (so much fun!) and we're off to see the Mavs in a few weeks. He is taking me to New York for my 40th birthday so we are keeping the fun in our relationship and enjoying life in Dallas.
Goal Six
Goal Six was to explore more of Dallas and we are doing that too! In February we ventured out to try a new place we'd never been to - Pyramid Restaurant in downtown Dallas. I highlighted our date night in this post. My parents will be here in a week and we have some other fun Dallas things planned too, including Reunion Tower. I love being a tourist in my own city!
Goal Seven
I have finished 8 books (I think, maybe 7) in my goal of reading 50 books this year. The most recent one I finished was Find Your Extraordinary by Jessica Herrin.
It was a fantastic read. I feel so inspired after reading this. Dream bigger! You can do it. She gives very pointed advice about purpose, priorities, and how to make it happen. I definitely recommend it.
That's how my goals are going so far this year - how are yours? Sound off in the comments below!
Come back Friday for Friday Favorites. I have some super cute date night ideas.
