Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. We had dinner with Phillip's parents and got to see the newest little one - he's not even a week old yet! There is nothing like holding a newborn, right? #allthecuteness
Next week, if you come looking for Life Lately on Monday, it will most likely be on Wednesday. We are spending next Saturday in Dallas at The Highland Dallas and having dinner at Knife to celebrate Mr. Fisher's birthday.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...what have we been up to lately? Take a peek...

I had an all day thing at work on Monday and there were going to be Very Important People there. And, to be honest, I like dressing up for work just as much as I like getting to wear jeans some days. So I took the chance to break out this new J. Crew dress and I fell in love with it. I cannot wait to wear it again. The color was perfection and the vintage Stella & Dot necklace worked with it perfectly.
I've been slacking a bit on my reading goal. I finally finished the last book and have moved on to my next. I am about a quarter of the way through The Notorious RBG and I am LOVING it. She has had a fascinating life.
Of course, there was barre. And there was new choreography this week. My legs were jelly the rest of the day. My instructor has been killing it in class lately and I have been pushing hard to work at my best.

I was on a day dress kick this week. This style is no longer available, boo. But I've linked to a similar version. I didn't have any meetings that day, but do you really need a reason to wear a pretty dress?
Y'all. I am in LOVE with this new bag. It is perfect for summer. Roomy enough to throw in everything you need to and the bright colors are perfect to wear with your summer whites. And these sunglasses! Swoon!. They are a little bit vintage and are so gorgeous. These two will definitely be summer staples for me.

Saturday was errand day and it was gorgeous! I got this top on clearance at the end of last season and I was excited to finally wear it. And those earrings! Don't let the size fool you, they are light as a feather.
I had to run to World Market on Saturday for a couple of things and I always love looking at their coffee mug selection. These two just tickled me. I was tempted to get them, but if I came home with more coffee mugs Phillip would have rolled his eyes so hard. #wehavealotalready
I also stumbled across this! Did any of you drink this as a kid??? My sister and I did. So of course, I bought a bottle. It tasted just like I remembered. #yestocreamsoda #nostalgia
Saturday night I baked a cake for dessert for Easter Sunday dinner. I opted for Pineapple Upside Down Cake. And this recipe is a winner. I found it on Pinterest.
It smelled so heavenly when it came out of the oven and it was all we could do not to cut into it last night. We waited for Sunday dinner. And it was worth the wait. #sodelicious
If you follow me on Instastories, you saw that I posted this Sunday morning. Phillip and I went for a run and then I enjoyed a cup of coffee and half of this yogurt. I was trying to compensate for the cake I knew I was going to eat later.

Easter Dress! I had these shoes, I bought them with absolutely nothing in mind, I just loved the color. And then I found this dress and the shoes worked perfectly. I love the swing shape. It was so flattering and incredibly comfortable. I dressed it up with a simple necklace, ring, and hoops to complete the look. I had plans on holding that baby so I didn't want a big chunky necklace.
Uncle Phillip and his newest nephew. Such a sweet, sweet baby. And so adorable! It was great to see the family for Easter. Baby's mama (Phillip's sister), looked great and it was a nice afternoon celebrating the holiday. And, let's not forget all the eggs to be hunted! The little ones had a blast and the older ones had fun hiding them. And I managed to snag a few Reese's.
That's what we've been up to, what's new with you all? I'll be back tomorrow with Tuesday's Stella and Dot post.
