Friday Favorites - Summer Swim

Hey there Friday, so happy to see you!  It's been far too long, hasn't it?  This is my first Friday off due to our summer schedule and I have been looking forward to it all week.  Barre, a pedicure, lunch with a girlfriend, and a facial.  A great Friday off, right? 

In a few weeks I'll be home for my bridal shower and I've requested a beach day and a beach day means swimsuits!  I scoured the internet for you all and here are the ones I liked best, starting with the one I actually picked.

This is the one I went with - the navy/ivory striped one shoulder suit from J. Crew.  I LOVE a one shoulder swimsuit and this one won out for me.  I find that J. Crew swimsuits run true to size, so go with your normal sizing here.  Oh, and it also comes in red:

Super cute, right?  Here were the other contenders (all one piece because I don't do two piece suits).

I thought this halter suit from loft was so pretty and I loved the keyhole neckline.  But in the end I didn't think it would provide me enough support in the bust area.  Probably a great suit for smaller chested women.

This halter suit with the scallop edging was so pretty - but alas, it was out of stock in my size.  This may be perfect for one of you all. 

How gorgeous is the print on this swimsuit!  And that little cutout detail in the middle?  I may invest in this one for Hawaii.  #honeymoon #cantwait

I love love love the embroidery on this one.  Sleek with a little bit of interest - this is another Hawaii contender for sure.

One of the things we want to do in Hawaii is paddleboard and wouldn't this be a great suit for that???

It wouldn't be a swimsuit post without a cover-up, right?  I went with this one, I just loved the gingham and the buttons.  So so cute.

Leith is a brand I come back to time and again because I always find something that works for me.  If button down gingham isn't your thing, maybe this grey racerback coverup is in your future?

Oh now I am dreaming of the beach, aren't you?  Sandy beaches, waves crashing, salt in the air?  Perfection.  I can't wait to go.
