Success!

Fall registration started this morning and went according to plan. After last semester's debacle, I was rightly nervous about how today was going to go. Fortunately, everything moved along just swimmingly and I can relax for a bit. I'm still a little nervous about tomorrow when the senior class registration window opens, it just goes with the territory. One of my supervisors told me, "what's to be nervous about - you've tested your set up, OIT has tested performance behind the scenes, it should be fine." "Should" is the operative word here. I know I tested and I know my set up was good, but what if there is an outage or a mass virus outbreak or the whole system crashes. These are the thoughts that run through my head the nights before registration starts. I can't help it, it's just the way I am. With good news from this morning though, I have hope that tomorrow will be A-OK.
