It is two weeks until Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving. It's one of my favorite holidays. There is just something so warm and cozy about the holiday. Family, friends, a good meal, and time to give thanks for all the blessings in life. Friday Favorites this week is about Thanksgiving. I've got a couple of outfit ideas plus some hostess gift ideas.
One

My outfit on Thanksgiving will probably be something like this. My Kut from the Kloth Catherine jeans, a cute pair of heels, a fun blouse, and killer jewelry. It's comfy but slightly dressed up which is my preferred mode of dress for holidays. It allows me to move around and help in the kitchen with tons of kids underfoot but I also like being dressed up a little.
Two

top | jeans | scarf (similar) | boots | watch | earrings
Another good casual outfit is a favorite tee and jeans with a fun scarf and boots. Again a good option if you're looking for a low key outfit for the day. I love this look because it's comfy and y'all know I love a good scarf.
Three

top | jeans | shoes (similar) | watch | bracelet | necklace
The last of the casual looks for Thanksgiving would be good if you lived in a warmer climate where we wear white jeans year round. I think last year it as in the 70s on Thanksgiving, so white jeans and sandals would be perfectly fine. And I love the look of the chambray against the white.

If you're going a little fancier for your Thanksgiving, might I suggest something like this? Ellen Tracy dresses are so comfortable and I find the cut of a a fit and flare to be so flattering. It's very much in keeping with that vintage look, but the heels and the jewelry make it a little more modern.

Now, the dress is more flattering than it appears in the picture. The angle is making it look blousier than it really is. It's super comfortable dress, one of my favorites from J. Crew Factory and today it's on sale for less than $25. Say what? Yup, under $25. Use the code onyourmark for 50% off.

Now, what to bring your hostess? If you're hosting, maybe someone will bring you one of these goodies. If you're attending someone else's gathering and you want to gift the hostess, here are some cute ideas. #iloveagoodgift
