Hello December! Can you believe we're sliding into the end of 2016? December means hot chocolate, holiday music, cozy scarves, and of course Christmas! Three weeks from now I will be waking up in Rhode Island. Phillip and I are spending Christmas n RI this year and I can't wait!
This week's Friday Favorites is all about the kids. Now, I don't have any kids of my own, but I've been surrounded by kids my whole life and this one in particular gets my special attention.
She's bright, funny, and sassy and shopping for her is always an adventure because I want something befitting of her superhero personality (she's addicted to Wonder Woman at the moment). I want her gifts to be special but also stimulate her mind and her creativity.
What I decided on for her is this Fisher Price Code-a-pillar. It's designed to help kids learn to code. Say what? Yes - you can create different codes to make the caterpillar go in whichever direction you want. It helps them develop planning and sequencing skills. I love it.
