Friday Favorites - The Best of the Rest #NSale

Hey all!  Happy Friday!  This is a bittersweet moment, it's my last summer Friday off.  I love the three day weekends, but I am eager to get back to my regular schedule.  And the sooner we do that, the sooner we get to Fall, right?  Today is my LAST Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post.

 This is the best of the rest of the sale including some kids items, some beauty finds, and some men's items.  

Now is the time to start your Christmas shopping people!  I know it's July, but the sale is just too good.  The only reason I am not buying Phillip's gifts already is that we are moving and I know he would be the one to open the moving box and be like, what is this?  So yeah, no early shopping for me this year.  But you all can let loose!  Here are some of my faves.

How adorable is this Tucker + Tate jacket?  It reminds me of my NorthFace Thermoball jacket.  I love the pink and the grey.  And at $32 it's a great deal on a coat.

I remember when my niece was born my sister swore by these aden + anais blankets.  That elephant print is just too cute.  Baby mamas - snap these up!  They're on sale for less than $30!

I am an Under Armour fan and if I had a little boy, I would be scooping up these sweatpants!  They are just under $18!  Such a great deal and it's UA, so you know it's quality.

I love a mixed media sweater and this Tucker + Tate one would be perfect for a young girl.  The grey and coral are perfect together.  It's also available in pink/floral.

Is there anything cozier than a NorthFace fleece?  Phillip likes to wear something like this over his button down shirts in the cooler weather.  They're less than $40 on sale, so grab a couple!  They're available in 6 colors.

Phillip is also a fan of a good, comfy hoodie.  This Threads for Thought hoodie comes in this maroon color as well as grey.  On sale it is just under $33!

Nordstrom has some great men's dress shirts available in the sale for under $30.  I have a return to make there tomorrow, so I may snag one or two for Phillip.  #heneedsanewdressshirt #notablueonethough

A good leather belt is always a great gift idea.  This Rafferty Belt by Trafalgar is on sale for $42.90!  Think Christmas gifts - dad, brother, grandpa, father-in-law...

The Anniversary sale is a great time to try out some new beauty items.  For example, these Clinique Chubby sticks.  I love them - great color, but not heavy.  If you have teen/college age daughters this would be a great stocking stuffer idea.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of the right makeup brushes.  You can get this MAC set for under $50 and is a great way to start your makeup brush collection.  If you like to experiment with makeup and try different looks, you need the right tools.

I once stayed at a hotel where the toiletries were by Molton Brown.  It was my introduction to the brand and oh. my. stars.  Their scents are heavenly.  At $39 this is a great way to try out the brand.  Or stock up on gifts.

The sale is a great time to stock up on perfume.  Now, Thierry Mugler isn't really my jam, but I know my sister is a fan #ahem #alert #snagthisonemelissa

And for good measure, I'm going to throw in a few of my favorites from the Women's department.  Get these leggings! Normally $54, they're on sale for $35.90.  I love my Zella high waist live-in leggings.  They are the perfect black legging.  #scoutshonor

I really need to win the lottery - I really really want this Frye hobo.  Sigh.

I have this yellow sweater and I am so ready for cooler weather to wear it.  It's a very pretty yellow.  I was contemplating the orange, but the yellow won out.  At just $39.90, this Halogen Scallop Edge Sweater needs to be in your closet.

Scrolling through  my favorites from the sale, I am really wanting to pull the trigger on this Free People Split Back turtleneck.  First of all, the color. Second - that split back?  But...y'all, I live in Texas.  I only need so many sweaters.  But at under $45, it's hard to say no...

I LOVE my Kut from the Kloth jeans.  They're well made and at a great middle price point.  You know you're getting quality but not spending so much money.  These skinny jeans would be a great way to try the brand and...they're under $60!

My ThermoBall jacket is part of the sale!  Snag one - it is the best.  I wear mine all the time in the cooler weather.  To the gym, to barre, I love it.  It is so comfy and warm.
