Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Faves!

Friday Favorites is on Thursday this week because y'all, it's here.  The Nordstrom anniversary sale is here.  This is THE SALE of the year.  You can get new Fall lines at discounted prices.  Today I am highlighting my favorites and including a couple of splurges in with the bunch.  The sale begins July 21.  You'll want to shop early because stuff sells out quickly.  If you are a Nordstrom Rewards member, you get EARLY ACCESS.  Early Access begins TODAY!  You get a whole week to shop before everyone else.
And now, without further ado, here are my favorites.

How adorable is this Chelsea28 Bell Sleeve top?  This poplin top will be a great transition piece to Fall.  I'm already picturing myself wearing it with dark jeans and booties and a great necklace.

I don't have a ton of sweaters, and I am consciously trying to keep a small number in my wardrobe as winter in Texas just does not call for as many sweaters as it does in Rhode Island.  However, if I'm going to add a sweater this year, it's going to be this one - the Halogen Tie Hem Sweater.  Halogen is another brand that I've purchased multiple times and have always been pleased with the quality.

I don't see any indication that the cold shoulder trend is going anywhere.  I have one cold shoulder top at the moment, and I have a feeling this Pleione one is going to join it.  I love the interest that the ties give.  French terry fabric makes it perfect for Fall and it comes in 7 different color options.

I have bought several J. Crew graphic tees in the past.  they do not disappoint.  Super soft and they wash and wear so well.  This one is too cute not to add to my cart!

I usually have very good luck with Treasure and Bond tops.  I think this off the shoulder sweater is no exception.  I love the blue and gold striping.  This would be a fun option for Fall.

You all know I'm a sucker for a yellow top, so this Topshop sweatshirt definitely caught my eye.  It has the great detail in the back too!

I saw several darling items for work, like this asymmetrical Betsey Johnson dress.  I love a structured dress for the office and the asymmetrical hem gives this one a little edge.  I love it.

I am also really digging this Halogen midi skirt and the scalloped sweater.  Appropriate for work, but not too staid.  And that sweater will also look great with skinny jeans and boots.

PJ Salvage pajamas are the BEST.  Hands down the softest pjs I own.  And I plan on adding one of these chemises to my pajama drawer.  Cute prints, softest fabric, you will want to stay in your pjs all day.

I have been wanting a pair of slim cargos or utility pants for a while and I think I finally found my pair!  These Caslon skinny utility pants are going to be perfect for Fall.  I'm planning on snagging a pair of the grey ones.

I also would be remiss if I did not recommend grabbing a pair of Kut from the Kloth jeans for yourself.  I wear mine all. the. time.  And lucky for you these darling crops are available during the sale.

I am always on the lookout for a fun date night dress and I think I found a good one.  How pretty is the ruffle detail on this Chelsea28 dress?  This is definitely date night worthy.

Similar to my sweater dilemma, I don't need too many coats here in Texas, but this Kenneth Cole coat is singing a siren song and I really want it.

Do you own a blardigan yet?  If you haven't, the anniversary sale is the time to purchase one!  I prefer this version to the original (although I LOVE both), since it's a little shorter and it has pockets.  There's also a hooded version available during the sale.  Seriously, if you don't have one, get one.  It's like wearing a warm, cozy hug.

Another fun date night option would be this Vince Camuto jumpsuit.  That poppy color is stunning and the cut of it is just beautiful.  Phillip is not a huge jumpsuit fan, but I'd ignore that and wear this one anyway.

For a long time I avoided buying booties.  I didn't like them, they felt clunky, and now I own three pairs.  They have grown on me and this pair by Steve Madden are just perfect for fall.  I am loving the olive color and that it's more of a sandal than a bootie.  I'd wear these year round.

And these Vince Camuto split shaft booties?  Swooning.  I love them.

Of course I've thrown in a few splurge items.  First up, this GORGEOUS Frye hobo.  First let me say that Frye leather goods are the best.  To say this would be an investment piece would be an understatement because it will last you a lifetime.  And you cannot beat the price.  Not for a leather bag this well made.

If I were to splurge on a dress, it would probably be this one by Tibi.  I love the simplicity of it and I cannot possibly get enough blue in my wardrobe apparently.

My last splurge recommendation is this cold shoulder sweater by rag & bone/JEAN.  The color is so pretty and this cold shoulder trend is not going anywhere, so if you want to invest in a piece, this would be a good one.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on beauty items.  This year they have an Elizabeth & James Nirvana Bourbon set and I want it.  This is my perfume.  The first time I tried it in Sephora I swiped some on my wrist and walked on to my next store.  I was back 25 minutes later to buy it because it was that good.  This is one of my go-to scents.

My second go-to scent is Amazing Grace by philosophy.  I have worn this scent for YEARS.  I mean, probably close to 15 years now.  I love it.  And every year for the Sale, they have these enormous lotions and bath gels for sale.  I always grab a set.
And that, my friends is the end!  Have you scoped out the catalog yet?  Have you seen anything you have to have?  What are you loving?  Sound off in the comments and happy sale shopping!!!
