Y'all. It is February already. February! I started a new fitness/eating program this week. I'm still doing Weight Watchers, but I'm doing the FASTer Way to Fat Loss for the next few weeks to shake up my routine a bit. Follow me over on Instagram, especially stories, to see how it's going. Before we get too far into February though, here's a peek at what we've been up to lately.
I attended a church in our new neighborhood for the first time. I liked it. I will definitely be back. I loved my old church, but the drive to it was a little longer and that was a deterrent. This one is about 5 minutes down the road from the new house.
I am LOVING my home office. I love how it's styled, I love how I have this little corner of the house to work in. The desk is Ikea, for those who are wondering.
Jack has always been partial to the cozy blankets in the house. Kate has recently discovered them and is now living her best (napping) life.

The weather in Texas has been all over the place, so layers have been a must. I love these dress pants from loft. They look cute with flats or with heels.
I need to be better about being motivated in the mornings. With my shorter commute to work, it has been too easy to lounge around. I could easily be working out instead. That changes this week. Also...I LOVE Parking Wars. I just love that show. I always feel bad when people tell the ticketing staff that they need to get a "real job". Um, they do have a real job, you're just mad you got caught.

I am loving this tassel top from LOFT. It's currently marked down. That blue color is stunning. I think it will look really cute with white jeans when the weather is warmer.
Have you tried the Everything But the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's yet? I roasted some cauliflower for dinner and head leftovers. This seasoning blend was so delicious on it. I really don't think you can do wrong with it.
This top - so cheery and pretty. Perfect for an evening at home or weekend errands. It's a little too casual for me to wear to work, though.
Thursday was. a. day. That is all.
We cooked our bacon in the oven for the first time and I will never cook bacon on the stove again. This was a game changer.
Trader Joe's has the BEST flowers. I always grab some when I stop in. And tulips are my FAVORITES.
This book, The Smart One, is so so good. I've had it on my bookshelf for a year or so and am now getting to it. Definitely worth picking up. This is the 4th book of the year for me. If you want to follow me on Goodreads, I have a profile there.
I have been wanting these rose gold birks forever. But they've been sold out, and they're restocked, but not in my size. #cuesadtrombone
However...I saw these in Target this past week and will wear the heck out of these instead.
And this top? Another Target find and it is so so so cozy and soft.
On Saturday, this guy and I had breakfast together before splitting up to run separate errands.

Jamie Ivey of The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey talks about the Siete chips all the time. I was in Whole Foods this weekend and snagged some for Super Bowl snacking. 5 stars y'all.
Every time I nap, this guy wants to sleep on my head. He just has a sixth sense for when I lay down. He could be in the bedroom and I lay down on the couch. Two seconds later he is making himself comfortable on my head. Every. time. But hey, I'll take my snuggles from him when I can get them.
All the praise hands for this coffee. So so good. Northeasterners, I don't know if you have Community Coffee. I discovered it when I lived in Louisiana and it is delicious. The King Cake and Pecan Praline flavors are the best. #IMHO
