TGIF! I am looking forward to a mostly low key weekend - how about you? I've got a facial scheduled, a family birthday party, and an Ikea trip lined up, but other than that, I'm looking forward to some down time.
Since Wednesday's post was all about Pregnancy and Fitness, I thought for Friday Favorites this week, I would highlight some of my favorite workout gear right now that is working for me as I'm around the 18 week mark.
I love these C9 Tank Tops from Target. I sized up one to accommodate the pregnancy, but they're soft, easy to move in and I love them for running, walking, and barre. They come in lots of colors. It's a bit of a looser fit, which I like. The pants are Isabel Maternity and can be found at Target as well. They are super comfy and I know I'll be able to wear them throughout my pregnancy.
I have always like Old Navy's active wear, so I snagged these capris this week. My usual Old Navy active wear has held up fine til now, but as the bump expands, they're getting a little uncomfortable in the waist. I like my workout pants high rise, so for comfort, I grabbed these.
When I ordered the pants, I also ordered this tank for later on down the road. I have never been disappointed by Old Navy active wear, so I know this will be great. Especially in the hot summer months in Texas. #summerbaby
Like the C9 Tank, I sized up one and have been using the C9 seamless sports bras. Since I am mainly walking and doing barre/yoga videos, these have been perfect support wise.
I know I've said this multiple times here, but if you have not ever been fitted for running shoes, get thee to a running store and get fitted! I did this about 8 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made fitness wise. No more sore shins or hips. I was recommended Brooks and I have stuck with them ever since. These are my favorites. I average about one new pair per year. In order to avoid injury it's important to replace them when they start to wear out (much like the rubber on a tire). They are so comfy and provide the perfect support.
What have been your favorites this week?
