Welcome to the weekend friends! This was my last full week of maternity leave and its been a little bittersweet.
I will be sad to leave this little squish at day care, but I love working. I have loved having the last 12 weeks home with him, but I'm also ready to get back to work...and back to a paycheck, but that's another rant for another day.
Today I'm sharing some of my beauty favorites. Some of these are items that are newer to me and others are ones that I reach for again and again.
This is my current favorite mascara! It has staying power, it makes my bare but there eyelashes look like they exist, and it comes off easily when I cleanse at night.
Speaking of bare but there lashes...I started using this shortly after Henry was born and I am definitely seeing a difference. My lashes are longer and already are looking so much better when I put mascara on. And, it's about half the price of Latisse.
I use this every night. Every night. It's my last step after I brush my teeth. I wear a lot of red lipstick, a lot of it matte, and it can be drying. This lip treatment is so hydrating. It's $20 and will last you a long time.
I love this moisturizer. I add a few drops of this:
My skin feels so hydrated. I use this in the morning and at night.
I use this treatment once a week. It's a little spicy on your skin, so it takes a minute to get used to the tingle, but my skin GLOWS after. Once a week, this will last you awhile.
I bought the mini size in this serum as I didn't know if it was going to work or if I was going to like it. It does and I do! I noticed a change after the first few days. I have some pigmented areas of skin from the sun and this definitely helps to lighten them.
Now, I love my Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm. It is my hands down favorite, but this is a really good dupe at half the price. My makeup just melts right off. I follow it up with a second cleanse using Tula or Cetaphil.
I love this lip tint. Love it. A couple of coats and I have a nice color on my lips. It's more of a stain than a gloss and has nice staying power. I'll layer it under a nude lipstick for a little more punch or wear it on its own. At $12 I have one at home and one in my purse!
Hands down one of the BEST red lipsticks I own, and I own a fair few. Staying power, y'all. Fenty makes great products and this one is no exception.
I have referenced this one several times and it is still my all time favorite palette. It is the one I reach for most days.
I love this lotion. I'm also fond of the fresh cream scent as well, but lemon custard has been winning the day lately. It smells sweet and fresh and a little tart. It's been perfect for the summer and you can't go wrong with philosophy lotions.
I've switched to semi permanent color as I let my gray hair grow out. This helps cover the gray as it grows and I avoid that weird in between stage with longer and longer gray roots. Once the gray is mostly mixed in, I'll stop using it and the color will eventually fade away leaving the gray perfectly mixed in with the rest - no crazy roots!
Any great beauty finds? Share them in the comments! I love trying new stuff.
Have a great weekend everyone and I'll see you back next week!
