Hello and Happy Friday!!! Hooray for the weekend! What do you all have planned? We've got a re-do of our date night in Dallas at The Highland - look for a recap of that next week. But let's get to Friday Favorites first.
In honor of my 40th birthday this month, this week's Friday Favorites are Favorites Under $40. I'm not quite sure how I feel yet about turning 40. This is the first milestone year where I've thought, "yeah, not sure how I feel about this".
Here are some current favorites that are all under $40!
I am LOVING this Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush. This is the color paaarty, but there are so many great colors to choose from. I love the rosy bronze glow this color gives me.
Another recent beauty fave is this L'Oreal Glossy Balm. This is the shade lovely mocha. It is a great nude balm. A little glossy but not super slick. I'm not a huge matte lip fan, so this is perfect. I've been wearing it all week and love it.
I love these Stella & Dot Wishing Necklaces. Such a great little delicate necklace. Perfect for layering or for wearing on its own. It comes in rose gold, gold, and silver (the rose gold is my favorite).
I love a good planner and the Passion Planner is a great choice. It's a buy one - give one program and for under $40, it's a great deal. Lots of space for dreaming, planning, and getting creative.
I love my Reef flip flops. I wear flip flops all year round. Here in Texas, I can get away with it especially since we haven't really had a winter to speak of the last few years. These are so so comfy and they last! I've had one pair now that is at least 5 years old and they are still in great condition. If you are looking for a good pair of flip flops to get you through summer, go with these.
I love a good racerback tank and the Lou & Grey tanks are so soft and comfy. I love mine! Perfect for summer or for layering in fall and winter, this will be your go to tank.
I wish you could smell how good this philosophy fresh cream lotion is through the screen. Not too heavily scented, it is light and makes your skin feel so soft. It is my new favorite lotion.
Dry shampoo is a life saver and I love the smell of the original Batiste Dry Shampoo. I've got this in travel size as well as full size. It comes every where with me.
Who doesn't love cake??? This is a local favorite. If you are in the DFW area you have to check out Cake Bar at Trinity Groves. Oh. My. Stars. The Old Fashioned is my personal favorite. At $4.50 a slice, you cannot go wrong. Moist and delicious, it is our favorite splurge spot.
And my final favorite - an all time favorite book of mine, Coming Home by Rosamund Pilcher. It is a sweeping story that takes place over the lead up to World War II and through the War. I've reread it many times and never tire of it or the amazing characters.
Those are my favorites this week! What are your current faves? Sound off in the comments.
Have a great weekend y'all!
