Is it me or does the weekend go by way too fast? I'm already missing football, is it time for the new season yet?

Pregnancy Update - Week 17
This week, the baby is as big as a pomegranate! Other comparisons - a large onion or the size of your hand. Crazy!
I feel pretty good. I'm still more tired than I used to be pre-pregnancy, but now I'm falling asleep at 8:30 on the couch instead of 7:30. #progress
I had my 16 week appointment last week and it went really well. I've gained 8 pounds so far which is good. I was nervous about the weight gain, but as long as I stay the course, I should be in good shape. Baby's heartbeat sounds good and all my vitals are great! Basically I've been told to keep doing what I'm doing. She gave me clearance to travel up to 34 weeks, but Mr. Fisher and I decided that after a trip home to RI the first weekend in May, I won't travel anymore until after the baby comes. Not that I travel a ton, but I do have a work trip to Los Angeles the first week in April and we are off for a weekend away Easter weekend.

Besides the pregnancy, what else have we been up to?
I texted my sister-in-law earlier last week and said, I haven't seen a pic of my nephew in a few days, ha! She was happy to oblige and sent me a couple of snaps. I can't believe he's almost 2 months old already!
Mr. Fisher has been on a mini baby clothes shopping spree and this came in the mail the other day. How cute!
Not to be outdone, I purchased my own dose of cute for the little one, ha ha
I've been staying active. I'll have more on pregnancy fitness in Wednesday's post, but I make sure to work out 4-5 times a week.
Back in high school, my English teacher, Mrs. Williams, introduced to Rosamunde Pilcher when she assigned The Shell Seekers as required reading. I stumbled upon Coming Home a few years later and it easily became my favorite of hers, if not one of my favorite books ever. Her books are the equivalent of comfort food. Cozy and lovely and soul satisfying. I read that she passed away last week at 94 and my To Read pile has added a few as now I want to reread all of my Pilcher faves. I started with my all time favorite.
Saturday night Mr. Fisher and I headed out for an early Valentine's Day dinner at one of our favorite places. I opted for salad.
That was so I could enjoy this without guilt. Y'all, I don't even like coconut and I am telling you this coconut cream pie is the BEST DESSERT. It is light and creamy and delicious!
Decaf espresso - yay!
Our Sunday was pretty low key. House cleaning, laundry, some work, and some reading and relaxing. Izzy was all in on the relaxing. Mr. Fisher made Tortilla Soup for dinner and we wrapped up the weekend with True Detective. I can't believe there's only two episodes left! Are any of you watching? Mahershala Ali is so good in this.
Have a great Monday everyone!
