Yay for Friday! I don't know about you all but it has been A WEEK. Whew. Now it's time for the weekend though and I am excited! I have a prenatal massage scheduled and we have a birthday party tomorrow for two sweet boys who are turning 2 and 3. This got me thinking about some of my FAVORITE gifts for younger kiddos.
I love giving games. As someone who loves board games, I really enjoy introducing kids to games they may not have played before. Hi-Ho Cherry-O is a classic and is a great introduction to counting.
Another toddler/smaller child favorite is Yeti in My Spaghetti. My niece LOVED this one when she was younger. And...there's also a book! Getting the book and the game would make a great gift combo.
I've always loved toys that are for pretend play - pretend cooking, being a doctor or a vet, pretend building. Got a kiddo interested in what's going on in the kitchen? This is a great find.
Melissa & Doug make some fantastic pretend sets. I love this one for any little one who wants to help Mom & Dad do the cleaning.
Y'all. Is this not the cutest thing? This is perfect for that sweet little one who adores animals. This one may be my favorite in the list this week!
I love giving books as gifts - I always have. I am definitely THAT auntie that can be depended on to give books as gifts, ha ha. The Day The Crayons Quit is one of my FAVORITE children's books and I love sharing it with new readers.
What are some of your favorite gifts to give little ones? Sound off in the comments - I'm always looking for new ideas!
Have a great weekend, y'all!
