Good Morning! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't believe we are almost halfway through July. I feel like April and May were the longest months ever but July is just zipping by.
First - let's start with our giveaway winner! The winner is:
Sean F.
Congratulations! I've emailed you with instructions to claim your prize. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Life has not been super exciting lately, but I did want to show you a little bit about what life looks like during quarantine around here.
We've been trying new foods! I've been making some of our favorites, like the Thai Chicken Curry, but we introduced Henry to corn on the cob. He's a fan.
Working from home has not meant that my meeting schedule has slowed down at all. This is a peek into this week's schedule. The end of the week is looking ok, but yeah, it's busy.
Someone was fascinated with Hamilton. He does love music.
I made my last lunch for day care! I am very excited to have one less thing on the nightly to do list. He's a good eater and is open to trying new things and I am excited about the variety he's going to get at school. I think I did a good job with lunches, but some days would be repetitive in a week. If I made pasta or mac and cheese, that would last him through three or four lunches.
Speaking of...this handsome dude started a new school today! I cannot even believe he's going to be one year old on Thursday. Where did the last year go? For reference on how tall he is, that outfit is a 2T.
And if you're wondering how I got him to sit still and smile in that last picture, it's because my sister and niece are back for another extended visit. We are all so excited they are here - especially Henry. They arrived yesterday and we had a low key night grilling out and watching Top Chef Junior. Little miss here is very into cooking shows and Top Chef Junior is great!
I mean, who doesn't love a cozy blanket? This one has been a favorite of his since he was born.
As you can see, we aren't getting out much, which is ok. We're pretty much limiting ourselves to the day care run, target, grocery pick-up, and restaurant pick-up (although we have it delivered more often than not). We've been doing a little work on the backyard/patio area and I hope to have an update on that for you all next week!
Have a great week, y'all!
