It's the first Friday of December! I think after October, December is my favorite month. It is (usually) dependably cooler in Texas and that's my favorite kind of weather. Plus, you know, the Holiday Season! We put our tree up the week before Thanksgiving and I am not sad about it. It sits in the nook of our staircase which gives me a great view of it from my office while I'm working.
Y'all - how are we almost to December already? How is my baby almost 17 months old? Why did April, May, and June feel like 3 years, but the rest of the year feel like 3 seconds?
Just some rhetorical questions, but time is crazy lately. I took a bit of an unintentional break the last couple of weeks, but things have been hectic around here and I am finally catching by breath.

Hello there Friday - so good to see you. This was a crazy week. Monday and Tuesday were super quiet work wise and then the rest of the week has just been busy, busy, busy.
I don't know about you, but I do a lot of shopping on Prime. Working full time with a busy toddler, sometimes it is just easier (and quicker) to order on Prime and it show up on my doorstep. Living in DFW with a huge Amazon hub, stuff gets here FAST.

Normally I would say, you can't beat a good restaurant salad. There's some secret sorcery there, however, I feel that this salad rivals a restaurant salad. Y'all. We're here - it's Friday. Hooray! This week has been crazy with the first week of classes. I added an extra day on campus into the work from home rotation and I've felt off about my schedule all week. But we're here. We made it to the weekend.
